Patch Notes for 4/11/15

Main Campaign

NEW Campaign mission: The Black Box. Take a trip aboard the Stella Marin in search of answers
Saved games from older builds will have their mission progression reset (don’t worry - your characters and gear are not affected) to make some important decisions on the mission Distressing Signals.
A new vendor is setting up shop on STIX.

Combat

NEW Inspect feature added to combat! Check out all the horrible debuffs you’ve applied to your foes by mousing over their Battle Icons.
NEW Detailed inspect added to combat! Click on a Battle Icon to get a detailed view of the enemy and learn more about them.
NEW Armored foes have started arriving. Get out your Hacker DoTs and Armor debuffs!
Void Psyker’s Horror now has a limit of 8 jumps and will attempt to jump if it kills a target.
Fixed display issue with Horror Void Energy cost.
Cyberninja’s Setup ability can no longer trigger when Cyberninja is dead. Spooky.
Smuggler’s Roulette ability no longer has a chance to complete instantly when activated.
Force Psyker's Fists of Fury ability using a ranged weapon now triggers correctly.
Prototype's Kill Cone ability now correctly has 100% accuracy at Rank 3.
Enemies that channel buff effects on allies can no longer stack them with the same effect from a different caster.
Fixed an issue where Mites Frenzy attack could remove multiple shields from target.

Interface

NEW You can now specify a save game name when saving.
Fixed an issue where xp rewards after combat were displaying incorrectly for parties with varying character levels.
Fixed an issue where Y-look inversion was sometimes not being saved.

Patch Notes for 3/28/15

Combat

Player and mob health and mob damage values have been rescaled for different game and mission difficulty settings. We look forward to hearing what you think!
Character death is now correctly saved with your game.
Loading an older saved game may "kill" all your current characters.
Medbay is having a sale on player revive prices to celebrate!

Hacker

Fixed an issue where Logic Bomb would calculate damage over time incorrectly.
Fixed an issue where Root Hack would not persist for the full duration.
Hotlink (Rank 3) no longer causes the team to have extremely low TU costs, but instead increases the current TU of all enemies by 200% of the Hacker’s weapon TU cost.

Smuggler

Removed ability Lucrative and added ability Bounty.
Coin Toss has been reworked to make it kick more ass. If you’re lucky.
Fixed an issue where a dead or stunned Smuggler could still Shoot First. Which is impressive, but should be impossible.
Shoot First now correctly shoots using the Smuggler’s equipped weapon and the damage has been reduced to 50% weapon damage.
Push Yer Luck ability now correctly shoots using the Smuggler’s equipped weapon.
All abilities that use the Smuggler’s weapon correctly factor in Akimbo when using a pistol.
Base damage of Roulette increased to 100/150/200% weapon damage.

Force Psyker

Fixed an issue where Aegis Strike could miscalculate damage if one of its bounces missed.

Engineer

Fixed an issue where Hand Cannon ability for Bolty could cause combat to stop.
Junker (Rank 3) no longer causes Junker to become immune but heals Junker for 30% of its health when Taunting. Junker’s health has increased to 25/35/50% of the Engineer’s.

Misc

Medbay no longer tries to sell you lowbie character gear in addition to medkits.
Fixed a display issue with xp award after battle and during mission debrief. Actual xp awarded remains unchanged. Known issue with display difference on character screen vs. debrief screen.
Fixed an issue where aborting a mission would display incorrect xp and credit gains.

Patch Notes for 3/25/15

Combat

Xp gains from killing mobs has been rebalanced to take into account the levels of your selected team. Higher level characters receive less kill xp on lower level missions, lower level characters receive bonus xp on higher level missions.
Increased challenge rating of a mission provides more kill xp.

Engineer pets no longer have a duration and correctly scale their attacks with the Engineer’s weapon damage.
Reduced health for Engineer pets as they no longer have a duration
Engineer junk meter now correctly displays when the Engineer’s turn starts and the correct amount of Junk.

Fixed an issue where Hacker’s Corruption would not cause periodic damage at the start of the enemy turn.

Fixed an issue with Force Psyker’s Barrier effect absorbing damage but allowing a shield to be removed when struck.

Interface

Minimap tiles now draw walls. Secret doors may look like walls...
Exit doors now have a more obvious icon on the minimap.
Mission generator now always creates a few missions (Cakewalk to Easy rating) based on the level of your lowest characters.

Items

The quality of drops in Loot Lockers is now always Uncommon or better, but they no longer drop junk or medkits.
Health kits now heal 20/40/60% health.
Heavy armor now increases the TU cost of all actions.
Shop now always generates at least one weapon, one armor and one shield of common rarity based on the level of your lowest character.
When starting a new game, if you chose to skip the tutorial level, Doc will reward you an Uncommon weapon and some extra credits. For being a badass.

Misc

Reduced damage from gas traps and gas fills rooms more slowly. You have to clog the nozzles.
