The Stardust Awards is an award ceremony for Hindi movies, which is sponsored by Stardust magazine. The first ceremony was held in 2003.

With the initiative of acknowledging fresh talent, thirteen years ago, Magna and its flagship magazine Stardust decided to honour talent in Bollywood. Since the last year, we have also ensured that in doing so, we do not neglect to give kudos to the talent of the stalwarts and veterans, and technicians who are invested in mainstream cinema. To endorse that, we have newly introduced categories like choreography, screenplay, story and costume design as well this year. Our impactful films of the small budget–big impact kind, have the privileged category of Editor’s choice hereon.

This season’s awards raise a toast to the content and extraordinary vision Bollywood has put forward, and to that end, we bring you an ‘Editor’s Choice category’ (not open for voting) which was high on content and low on budget, but with their extensive visualization, brought to life niche tales. And of course, no Awards’ night is complete without celebrating the biggest and the best films of the year.

Come, let’s celebrate the magic of films. One more time.
