I'm sure there are some people who think that it's a "clever" and "witty" criticism of the Faithful. However, in truth, if the producers had taken the same approach to Orthodox Jews it would condemned as a blind, unjustifiable, anti-Semetic attack that gets all the facts WRONG and projects biased stereotypes designed to induce others to adopt that same HATRED.
THAT, in fact, is what THIS movie does towards Catholics! Of course, bias and discrimination towards Christians is not only tolerated by many, it's even fashionable to some; hence, you get movies like this, complete with soft-core pedophilia on the cover. One would do better giving to charity than losing their time and money to this cinematic trash!
