Description     Season 01 , Episode 02 – “Belize and Guatemala” Stephen makes his way through Belize and Guatemala. Belize is the only country in Central America that used to be a British colony and it has English as its official language and the Queen is still head of state. He pays a visit to the Wildtracks Animal Rescue Centre in Belize City where he finds out how to bottle-feed an injured baby manatee before meeting up with the last vestiges of the British Army. He then makes his way to Turneffe where he talks to a latter day Robinson Crusoe called Alan. Stephen later makes his way into Guatemala which has a very indigenous culture. He takes part in a sacred Mayan ritual with shaman Tata Gilberto and his acolyte Ricky Lopez, in the temples of Tikal. The then travels by bus into the mountains of the Ixil.
