New series. Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly host the pro-celebrity contest, with shows on both Friday and Saturday nights for the opening two weeks. Facing the added pressure of launching this year's series with two routines, the first eight couples dance a waltz or tango, returning tomorrow to perform the cha-cha or rumba. Lining up this week with their professional partners are actors Ali Bastian and Lynda Bellingham, boxing world champion Joe Calzaghe, EastEnders star Ricky Groves, former professional tennis player Martina Hingis, sports presenter Chris Hollins, long jumper Jade Johnson and TV presenter Rav Wilding, while the remaining couples take to the floor in a mambo group dance. Alesha Dixon, who won the competition in 2007, joins the panel to judge the performances, alongside Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli.
