This is the REAL Season 1.. when the British owned the series. The acting from Richard Armitage, Andrew Lincoln and Jodhi May (to name a few) are absolutely amazing. When the US purchased the series, it became ruined with crappy plots and cheap sex... pretty much unrecognizable from Season 1.

I will be purchasing the season 1 once I can buy it in Canada at regular prices. Retail stores only sell seasons 2 onward (Season 2 has been re-named as Season 1 and so forth). \n

Thank you uploader!! The quality of the download is very nice: crisp and clear audio and video. \n

PS: anyone who is interested in seeing this season on tv, it premieres on Cinemax on Friday 25th October, 2013 at 10pm. They are calling it "Strike Back: Origins".
