Description:
Take the helm of your customised steamship and set sail for the unknown! Sunless Sea is a 2D game of discovery, survival and loneliness set in the award-winning Victorian Gothic universe of Fallen London. Will you succumb to madness and cannibalism on the black waters? Or return home triumphant with a hold full of precious loot?

Events can turn out differently every game - sometimes, even if you make the same choices. Will you lose your sweetheart to a curse? Redeem, betray or consume the Genial Magician? Sell your soul to the Wistful Deviless or spurn her advances? Is the Dawn Machine your salvation, or your doom?

You are the captain. It’s your call.

Mechanical changes:- All ship’s equipment now counts as Goods (but doesn’t use up Hold space when equipped). It can only be swapped out in dock, not at sea.- More sound effects, including a mournful bell on the buoys.- Ship moves, ah, more slowly backwards than forwards.- You should now be able to recruit more crew straight away when you purchase a new ship.- Your ship can no longer move without an engine.- Tidied most of the placeholders out of the way to reduce confusion.- The Journal page layout has now been updated.- Various improvements to terrain textures (most notability in Boreal Reach).- Placeholder tiles are now empty rather than having grey placeholders.- Story interface improved to remove unnecessary white space.- Improved combat music.- Variant beastie combat AI.- The usual tweaks, optimisations and bug fixes.Content changes:- More combat balance changes! Look out for Wild Salvos and the Flank Speed! action.- You may now leave your Lodgings to your heir, if you make a Will or if you retire gracefully.- You may install Heirlooms in your lodgings to leave to your heirs.- The Admiralty Dockyard is now open, for cheaper repairs if you’re in good odour; and all repairs are noticeably cheaper.- Zee-beasts will no longer Observe you.- In extremis, you may consume Zzoup.
