Supergirl: Girl Power was a five-part inaugeral story-arc chronicled in issues #1-5 of Supergirl (Volume 5). The story focused on the character of Supergirl and her efforts to find her place in the world. Prior to this event, Supergirl appeared last in Superman/Batman #19. "Supergirl: Power" established Supergirl's brief romantic relationship with Outsider Owen Mercer, and also fomented the lasting friendship between herself and the Teen Titan Wonder Girl.
