'Supersonic' was a show aimed mainly at teenagers, similar to 'Top Of The Pops' in format. Two series were made, between 1975 and
early 1977. There were some excellent special effects in the show and between the acts the charismatic producer, Mike Mansfield, was
shown directing affairs in the control room .... His catchphrase was 'Cue The Music'.

Supersonic represents a nostalgic slice of the Seventies for many people who are now (sorry) what is called 'middle-aged' ; what a pity
Abba never appeared !
