Description



Though dating from 1960, this recording of Szymanowski's rhapsodic Violin Concerto No. 1 is considered one of the finest. Kurt Sanderling was little appreciated in his lifetime; David Oistrakh was, and together, they provide a passionate that matches the intensity of the music. Bios of both composer and violinist in the folder.
