To use Workshop mods, see tutorial below
If you like it, purchase it!

Using Workshop mods:
New Workshop mods may not work properly since update v3.3. The mod format changed to .JSON, and trying to download them results in a corrupt file.
For workshop mods we will be using the website Steam Workshop Downloader : http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/
If the website doesn't do anything, try a different browser!
  • Step 1: Go to the Tabletop Simulator workshop page: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse/?appid=286160
  • Step 2: Find the mod you want to download and copy the URL. For example, the UNO mod is here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =260389428
  • Step 3: Paste the mod URL into the Steam Workshop Downloader website, it should show you the mod name and a download button
  • Step 4: Click download and save it with the same name as the mod ID number from the URL and the proper file extension [see above fix]. In our example, we would save UNO as 260389428.cjc
  • Step 5: Put the mod file in this folder (create it if you don't have one): "C:UsersUSERDocumentsmy gamesTabletop SimulatorModsWorkshop"

Thanks again! Wondering if there's any progress on 3.8? Maybe some people will have better luck with the newer version.

Also, is saving supposed to work? Or is the crack unable to handle that?
Our team has been working on 3.8, and we'll be releasing it shortly.

I'm not really entirely sure how the game saves, since most of the mods are broken aswell.
After piecing together the missing files from the last upload with files from this (partially downloading) upload, I finally managed to get it to load a module and play a game. This CAN eventually work, but you do need all those little files, which seem to be rather stubborn about appearing.

The only inability I have now is in saving. Is this a missing file I would have, or is this simply not supported in this setup? It would save a lot of time for me If I could save a game setup, instead of redoing it by hand each time.
I seriously don't know why the torrent is missing files each time.
If the mod number starts with 3, you can save it was .json or if it starts with 2, you save it as .cjc.
I can't get any mods to work, neither .json or .cjc - I'm putting them in the proper directory but I always get an error saying "read from workshop failed." Also, it only says I have 1 subscribed mod when I have more than that.
It was stuck at 99.8% for some reason.
