Palengke Queen is a typical story of a rich boy Merto who fell in love with a poor girl Tibang, but the love affair was vehemently opposed by Dona Carmela, Berto's aristocratic mother because of Tibang's poor status.

As the story goes the poor girl became rich, a beneficiary of a sudden inheritance and she took her revenge on Dona Carmela.

All is well that ends well as Berto & Tibang & son were finally reunited.
