This stylized and very silly Japanese take on the spaghetti western comes complete with most of the genre's cliches.



The dialogue is in English (though there is a Japanese dubbed version included), but the English skills of the actors vary maddeningly, and this version does not include English subtitles.



There's some good slapstick, which transends language barriers. And, since there's a dwarf, it must be Arthouse.



I think, with a little editing (it's a bit long at two hours), it might fit into the Grindhouse double-feature format.



Quentin Tarentino's part is a bit on the short side (good for some, bad for others), and his accent is all over the place.



How they managed to work in the line "That's why I'm an anime otaku" into a film set in the late 1800's is pretty fascinating.

Pay it back, and keep it going.
