***************
* The Details *
***************

This mod is as of its third release is simply a giant collection of 250+ projectile/energy weapons and 100+ melee weapons collected from Fallout 3 and current New Vegas mods or made from scratch. A considerable amount of work was done fixing the majority of the weapons so they animated more or less correctly, had more or less correct iron sights, and new modifications added to them. The mod does not do anything else - it will not alter your jump height, it will not give you super powers, and the weapons are not over-powered god weapons that will ruin any challenge you might have. At least, we hope not.

Also included with the mod is a collection of several optional ESP files which you can use to enhance your gaming experience with The Armory. A separate readme has been included within that folder that describes them in further detail, but there are realism mods, a leveled list mod, and several pre-order DLC style starter packs to start with.

An HTML database of all the current weapons with relevant information and which mods they can take has been included for your browsing pleasure.

****************
* Requirements *
****************

5GB of HD space - ~925MB compressed, ~2-5GB uncompressed.

Weapon Animation Replacer - http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38527

You MUST use WAR. This is not optional - it is required for several weapons to work properly due to his new reloading animations and tweaks. NOTE: Improper installation of WAR, or mods that overwrite files that WAR modifies, will -ALSO- cause glitches with The Armory! Please re-install WAR before reporting odd hand grip related glitches and such first.

****************
* Installation *
****************

If you are using the FOMOD, use FOMM to activate and deactivate the mod as you wish and install whatever optional ESPs you would like to use.

If you are installing manually, copy and paste the contents of the rar file into your Data folder. You shouldn't overwrite anything but if you do... click yes - especially if you are installing over The Armory v1.1 or v1.5.

!!!!IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU ARE UPGRADING FROM THE ARMORY v1.1, DELETE ALL ARMORY RELATED ESPS FIRST!!!!

Should you want to uninstall, deactivate the FOMOD or simply navigate to the meshes/weapons and textures/weapons folder and delete the ahztek folders in both along with the esm/p files to remove most of the mod.

***********************************
* Troubleshooting and Compability *
***********************************

This mod was not heavily tested with other mods, though it shouldn't conflict with other mods except maybe other weapon mod packs that happen to use the same object name or something. PNV and CFWNV also add in the 2mm ammo caliber, so there will be duplicates there. Most weird glitches and random errors reported during testing were caused by mods such as Readius, CaliberX, WAR, and gameplay tweaking mods. Sometimes quiting and restarting the game often fixed a lot of the more bizarre glitches like floating gun parts in third person view that are known stock issues, etc.

* The Future *

There's always more to do, fix, add and implement. Always.

* Credits and Permissions *
***************************

To all those who have created the original assets of each and every single one of the weapons in this pack, we give you full credit, props, and appreciation for the hard work you have done to make these assets. We in no way at all try to claim credit for ANY of the art assets in this pack what-so-ever and will always claim this. Team Happy Happy Geckos has a couple artists and know how much time and skill it takes to do quality work, so know that the last thing we would ever do is try to claim credit for your hard work. Mainly this consists of the talented people over at FPSBanana, but there are other original works in the pack that didn't come from that site.

To those who originally put in the time and effort to import these assets into the Gamebryo engine either for Fallout 3 or for New Vegas, we also fully credit you to the work you did originally. It's not easy and we can certainly appreciate the work you did after doing these 320. For those that re-ported weapons into New Vegas, we credit you as well - iron sighting is sometimes difficult, tedious, and rarely nearly impossible without altering or fixing the original meshes and so know that we do recognize how tempting it is to simply give up before getting it just right - we were tempted many a time.

Anyone else we missed here? Don't worry, we didn't mean to. We really do honestly and sincerely want to credit the people who originally worked on these assets, even if we would rather not take the time to do it individually and we hope those realize the true scope of just how many people we'd have to track down and try to contact to make this possible and forgive us for not wanting to go through with that.

All that being said, this pack does contain assets from commercial games and we most certainly would not get permission from those companies to use their assets, so we have not bothered with asking permission to use the artwork in this pack. So we suppose you could consider this a "pirate" pack and thus we wouldn't even be obligated to credit anyone in that case... but we have. Just without listing your individual internet handles like xXxSuPaSaIyAnGoKuSSJ18xXx which nobody would read or care about anyway. 'Cept you, maybe. Get over it.

If you are an original author who is upset over this? Well, that's unfortunate, but to this we do have one thing to say:

Yaaaarrr!

Hugs and Kisses,

Team Happy Happy Geckos
