Here is the first (and final) season of The Benson Interruption. I finally found a way to get
proper quality webrips, so here are some nice copies of this short-lived stand-up comedy gem.
I guess I should have uploaded Attack of the Show, but I spent all weekend working on this
instead. Also included are 320K MP3s of the original and instrumental theme music by Hard &
Phirm.

Based on the long-running live stage show Benson hosted for many years in Los Angeles, California,
The Benson Interruption was a stand-up comedy show on Comedy Central starring Doug Benson. The
concept of the show is that three stand-up comedians per episode perform their acts in front of
an audience, with Benson sitting on a throne by the side of the stage. When the time to present
a humorous punch-line approaches, Benson interrupts the comic with a comment with the intent of
adding to the humor of the joke. Every episode also features at least one "tweet-off", where
Benson and the current guest read Twitter posts off of their own Twitter accounts in an effort
to outdo each other with funny tweets. Guests included Todd Barry, Michael Ian Black, Adam Carolla,
Andrew Daly, Graham Elwood, Chris Hardwick, Rob Huebel, Nick Kroll, Thomas Lennon, T. J. Miller,
Eugene Mirman, Tig Notaro, Brian Posehn, Greg Proops, Nick Swardson, Mary Lynn Rajskub,
Paul Scheer and Randy & Jason - The Sklar Brothers.
