"The Egg Salad Equivalency"


Alex is attending a Physics lecture which she invites Leonard to dinner to tell him about it. Leonard feels great about being the object of interest by two women. Raj is unhappy because he claims to have been working on Alex. Sheldon wants to deal with Alex's advances on Leonard and requests advice from Penny, Bernadette and Amy using fake names in a very obvious scenario. Everyone knows who he's talking about. Penny wants to kill Alex and feels very insincere in her relationship with Leonard. With Leonard feeling good about being hit upon, the dynamics of their relationship is reversed, though he stays completely loyal to Penny. Sheldon's talk with Alex includes asking her to reduce her sexual desires in language that she finds offensive. Alex files a complaint with the Human Resources administrator, who also finds Sheldon's comments inappropriate though twisted by Sheldon's understanding and logic. He also mentions incidents involving the other guys who also have to visit Human Resources. Sheldon apologizes to Alex, but also wants her to take his on-line sexual harassment training that he has been requites to take. Penny looks at some science classes and decides that they are all boring since Alex is someone who can discuss Leonard's work with him. Instead she buys a pair of "smart" glasses to look the part which does make Leonard excited as he pulls her into the bedroom.
