The Big Chill (1983) - original source before "the big squeeze": PublicHD

A seminal Thirty-Something movie in which a group of old college friends who are now all grown up and hardened by the big wide world come together for the funeral of Alex, a barely glimpsed corpse, who was at one time the brightest and the best of them, and yet who never managed to achieve half as much as any of the others. The friends use the occasion to reacquaint themselves with each other and to speculate as to what happened to their idealism which had been abundant when they were younger.

ffs, why 1080p for such a small filesize? If this were 720p, the image quality would actually be better for the size.
This was one of the first movies that I converted (from a 4GB source). The source was 1080p and I left it at that. I did try to eyeball the best compromise of visual quality vs size. As an older movie, even the source was not super HQ. However, as you suggest, I really should have downsized to 720p for easier playing on lower resource devices.

Future uploads will mostly be 720p. I will also use MP4 instead of MKV because it seems more popular and more compatible with a greater selection of players.
Thank you! Nice job.
Thanks !
