Description

My Blu-Ray rips are always taken DIRECTLY from the actual blu-rays, not re-encodings of an earlier h264 torrent, and not "filled in" with web downloads. HEVC is a superb machine, but it should be given quality raw materials.

By special request, this is the opening episode of Neil Jordan's Borgias show from 2011, taken directly from my blu-ray. The remaining 8 episodes of season 1 will be uploaded in a complete torrent in July 2016. The 2nd and 3rd seasons will be uploaded later in 2016.

This is an h265 (HEVC) 10 bit LE 2 pass high quality 1080p rip of the episode.

I used x265 to create a VBR in 2 passes, at an average of 1400kbps and peak of 3300kbps.

The audio is 5.1 AC3 at 384kbps.

Finally, the English subtitles are included (soft coded). The SRT file is also included.

I think x265 has done a good job, creating a very good reproduction of the original blu ray file, at a fraction of the original size.

Please share and enjoy.

Great encode, thanks a lot, RB! Excellent quality
Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Season one should be uploaded around the start of July. Season two will be August.
Amazing quality. Thanks a lot
It's odd, some blu-rays work really well at lower bitrates, and others not so well; this one looks good I feel. x265 developers are to be praised.
