The Breeders are an American alternative rock band formed in 1990 by Kim Deal of the Pixies and Tanya Donelly of Throwing Muses.

The Breeder's album, Last Splash (1993) includes the hit single 'Cannonball'.
Released as a single on August 9, 1993 on 4AD/Elektra Records.
The music video for 'Cannonball' was directed by Kim Gordon and Spike Jonze.
