Shy Ji-hae's friend is having problems expressing her feelings to the boy she loves, so she asks Ji-hae to write e-mails to him in her name. As the boy falls in love with her letters, Ji-hae discovers the story of her mother's romance which is remarkably similar to her own circumstances.

Mentre sta riordinando la casa, la studentessa Ji-hae trova una scatola in un armadio. All'interno di essa trova un diario e molte lettere d'amore. Le lettere sono indirizzate a sua madre ed il mittente è suo padre, ma scopre che sono tutte firmate da un certo Joon-ha.
Leggendo le lettere e il diario, Ji-hae scopre il primo vero amore di sua madre, una storia che rispecchia la situazione che lei stessa sta vivendo con un ragazzo all'università.
