The Collected George Orwell

One of the great authors of the twentieth century, George Orwell is known for his incisive critiques of inequality in pre- and post-World War II England, as well as of totalitarianism. His most famous novels are the dystopian Nineteen Eighty-Four and the modern political fable Animal Farm.

This collection includes all of Orwell’s novels and non-fiction books, as well as the famous essay “Shooting an Elephant.”
