The Crow WORKPRINT 1994 [Version A&B] (720) (Size: 2.66 GB)
Description
Here's both A & B versions of The Crow 1994.. I didn't include the originals cause its bad quality, I did my best on both 720&1080.
Crow workprint, The (1994) Running Time: 2:01:51 Language: English Quality Rating: D Letterboxed No Subtitles Directed By: Alex Proyas Starring: Brandon Lee This is the film that claimed the life of its star, Brandon Lee (son of Bruce Lee), who was accidentally shot on the set in early '93. It's a dark, surreal version of James O'Barr's comic book series about Eric Draven, a rock musician who is murdered and returns from the dead to wreak revenge against the sleazy criminals who did in him and his fiancee. The title refers to a supernatural bird that leads Draven through his bloody, vengeful experiences. This alternate version workprint of the film runs about 20 minutes longer than the theatrical version, and contains numerous different scenes and additional dialogue. Some of the final sound effects and optical effects are missing, but this film remains fascinating to watch if you are a fan of the film. There are no ending credits.. Crow workprint "B", The (1994) Directed By: Alex Proyas Starring: Brandon Lee This second workprint of The Crow appears to be a later version of the film, near completion. Some effects and opticals are missing, much of the soundtrack is in place. Running time is closer to the released cut than to the previous workprint. Notes: 1. In this list i didn't include one graphic scene which is in both workprints. It's the scene where after he has risen from his grave and while he is walking through the streets Eric gets knocked on ground after Arcade building explodes near him and then he sees burned black woman exiting the building and after she falls into his arms Eric has a vision of gang members threating her while setting up the bomb to explode. Eric then puts the woman on ground and escapes while Albrecht shows up at the scene and tells the woman that everything's gonna be fine but she dies. Second workprint has cut version of this scene and it doesn't show woman exiting the building and Eric helping her out and also doesn't include scene where she dies soon after Albrecht arrives. Reason why i don't think that this scene is MPAA cut is because from what i heard, this scene was deleted either for pacing or some other reason. 2. While watching deleted scenes on special edition of The Crow, i noticed some graphic shots during uncut night club shootout scene which are not in the workprints. This is just my opinion, but maybe there was some cuts made on scenes during editing of first workprint or maybe there was even longer cut/workprint which was made, but has never leaked out to public. I know that definitely more scenes were filmed but deleted which are not in both available workprints.Deleted scenes which are not in workprints - As fans of The Crow know, there was supernatural character called Skull Cowboy who had several scenes but was completely cut out of the movie. He was the one who resurrected Eric and told him what he can and can't do while hunting the people who killed him and his girlfriend. One deleted scene between him and Eric that happens before final showdown in church can be seen here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jM4NMeVWGmE%20. Some other scenes were deleted because of the decision to cut Skull Cowboy out of the movie. This includes fight between Eric and Funboy during which Eric gets cut with razor and this is why he has black tape on his hands in the rest of the movie. This scene is included in deleted scenes on special edition of the movie. There was also a scene after that one where, after he killed Funboy, Eric plays "Shelly's song" (famous guitar solo) at roof of the loft when Skull Cowboy appears and tells him that reason why his wounds which he got in fight with Funboy didn't heal is because he cured Sarah's mom from her drug addiction, which he wasn't allowed to do. Chase scene between Eric and T-Bird and police car was originally longer. During the chase T-Bird hits the brakes and Eric crashes out through the windshield but manages to get on the roof of the car and after hanging on it for some time he manages to re-capture T-Bird.MPAA cuts from workprints - In the flashback of his death scene Eric gets shot 5 times instead of 2 like in theatrical version. Eric stabs Tin-Tin more times after throwing one of his knifes at him and hitting him in shoulder. When Gideos shots Eric, different angle is shown and scene is in slow motion. Close up of knife stabbing Gideon's hand is shown, also close ups of his stabbed hand and shots of him screaming in pain while trying to pull the knife out are shown. When Funboy shots Eric in hand bloody bullet hole is shown onscreen and when Eric lifts his hand a graphic close up of hand with bullet hole in it is shown. Gideon's death scene is longer. He is shown twitching in chair after Top Dollar stabs him in neck with sword, and then he shoots him 5 times with gun. In theatrical version this cut is very obvious and Gideon is shot only 2 times. In second workprint his death is little shorter and he gets shot only 4 times. Shootout at Top Dollar's place is longer and bloodier. Eric gets shot lot more times in the beggining, more bloody bullet hits are shown throught the scene, Eric cuts the neck of some guy and lot of blood spurts out, when he takes the sword Eric cuts one guy's arm off, few more people are killed by Eric, when cops show up and Eric starts running he gets shot more times. This scene is slightly cut in second workprint. When Top Dollar shoots Eric in church, more blood is shown flowing from Eric's wound before he falls on ground. Death scene of Grange is little longer, he gets shot with more bullets. Myca's death is little longer, when crow picks her eyes out some more graphic close ups are shown. Top Dollar's death is longer, very graphic and bloody shot of him impaled by the statue is shown with lot of blood coming out of his mouth and his body. One more tracking shot of his dead body is also shown. Related Torrents
