Angelina Jolie gives a rare interview to The Culture Show. She talks to Mark Kermode about her varied film career from Lara Croft:Tomb Raider, to an Oscar for Girl Interrupted and acclaim for A Mighty Heart. Actress, working mother and UN activist, Jolie talks about the roles she juggles and her new film Changeling, which some critics say is her best work yet, directed by Clint Eastwood.

Plus, photographer and artist Tom Hunter is among the top artists campaigning to raise 50 million pounds to buy Titian's Diana and Actaeon for the nation. The National Galleries in London and Edinburgh have until December to raise the money or its owner, the Duke of Sutherland, might sell it on the open market. To highlight the supreme beauty of this painting Tom will try to recreate the masterpiece in a modern day setting with a surprising cast playing Diana, Actaeon and the scantily-clad nymphs.

The actor Martin Freeman, a Motown devotee, has been working on a special edition of The Culture Show to go out in January marking the 50th anniversary of one of the most successful and best loved record labels of all time. As a taster for that programme Martin travels to Detroit to meet the unsung heroes of Motown - the Funk Brothers.They were Motown's house band, who played on hundreds of hit songs and although they were the heart of the Motown sound they have only recently received recognition.

Also, Kim Catrall, Sir Paul McCartney, a performance by Emiliana Torrini, and Jason Donovan takes on the Busking Challenge.
