BLACKMORE picks up as the group leaves the stadium. Beaten and battered, they head for the beach house.

With the fate of their son now a complete mystery, Mason and April must fight to keep him from becoming something no one in the group wants to speak about.

As Savannah attempts to come to terms with her own mortality, Randy continues to battle the demons that haunt his every move. However, they must put aside their personal issues and work together to defend the group from the ever growing parade of villainous humans they continue to run across.

Exciting new characters are also introduced that add fuel to the already out of control fire that has become The Dead Years.

With all that's happened, our once close-knit group of survivors have become divided. Those who realize the importance of the trip out into the world of Feeders and those just looking to survive.

Homecoming
Book Six of The Dead Years brings the group back together or at least what's left of them. Mason, Savannah and Lockwood return to the beach house and to the unforeseeable horrors that have fallen on their family.

Book Six (HOMECOMING) follows our group of survivors from the demise of Marcus Goodwin through the many hardships of living in the mountaintop facility and finally the journey to find another home.

The groups sanity and their ability to retain it will be tested as they once again come to realize that the infected aren't their only problem.

More new characters and unimaginable circumstances are introduced as we get a glimpse into the horrific life that has become The Dead Years.

Retribution
Book 7 (RETRIBUTION) begins with Megan and Eleanor having been abducted by those who ravaged their beach-side community and subsequently charged off into the cover of darkness.

Mason and Brian are at odds over their next move and with the group divided; Randy makes the decision to head out into the city with or without help.

We meet those who've taken the women and children and the gruesome lengths they are willing to go to... to get what they want.

Into the city our group faces not only the most challenging time since the beginning of the infection, but the loss of multiple friends.

Our group of survivors will come to realize that the Feeders are not the worst thing about this new world.

Humans will prove to be just as much of a threat as the infected.

The group will have to work together as they search for their missing family and for retribution from those still unknown.

Absolution
In Book 8 (ABSOLUTION), the longest installment of the series, our group of survivors are lost.

Reeling from the sudden demise of one of their own, and attempting to put a stop to the destruction wrought by Marcus Goodwin, Mason must avoid becoming a victim himself.

As a new group quickly descends on our survivors, we find out just how depraved humans in this new world have become. Separated, scared and on the run, they must once again rely on one another and themselves if they hope find redemption in a world completely void of humanity.

In this driving conclusion to The Dead Years, the city has gone dark and prays on those who have given up their will to live. Will Mason, Randy and their small band of survivors find the salvation they so desperately seek or is this new world simply too far gone?
