It has been four years since Eloise last saw her husband. Four long years. Her memories of her marriage to Isaac, though distant in time, are still fresh in her mind and she’s determined that she’ll never go back. Their relationship was toxic. They were bad for each other, or at least that’s what she’s convinced herself.
Isaac didn't realise just how badly he missed his wife until she shows up on his doorstep demanding things from him that he isn't willing to give. Though it’s a little too late to ask for her forgiveness and repair their relationship, he wants to try to at least build bridges so that he can move on with his life.
