Donner Party was a group of California-bound American
settlers caught up in the western expansion of the 1840s.

after reading the really good page on wiki about The Donner Party, i was intrigued to see a film about it. was a bit gutted the film starts half way thru their journey! but was an ok movie, good if ur interested in the history of it. if u know nothing about it, dont bother. lol. good torrent and quality tho :)
