The Evil Clergyman(1987) Re-Mastered VHS-Rip.mkv(Jeffrey Combs,Barbara Crampton,David Gale & David Warner

In the 1980’s, Charles Band’s Empire International Pictures was responsible for some modestly successful films such as Re-Animator (1985), Ghoulies (1985), Trancers (1985), From Beyond (1986), and Puppet Master (1989). There was a planned anthology film entitled PulsePounders (1987) which would consist of short sequels to Dungeonmaster, Trancers, and an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s short story, The Evil Clergyman. The Lovecraft inspired segment was originally filmed in 1987 but rumored to have been caught up in Band’s financial misfortunes which eventually led to the downfall of his Empire International Pictures and apparently lost forever.

In 2011, Band revealed that a VHS work print of the film was found to have survived. A restoration effort was launched including a newly recorded score by Richard Band.
