Studenten Quinn en Graham hebben weinig geluk in de liefde. Quinn is
wanhopig verliefd op een beeldschone collega die hem niet ziet staan.
Grahams vriendin wil geen vaste relatie en houdt er achter zijn rug
meerdere vriendjes op na. De twee studenten grijpen hun kans wanneer ze
op de universiteit aan een experimenteel middel werken waarmee gedachten
van anderen kunnen worden beïnvloed. Waarom het middel niet uitproberen
op alle mooie studentes die op de campus rondlopen? Tot hun verbazing
ontdekken Quinn en Graham dat het middel werkt. Elke vrouw die ze willen,
valt voor hun charmes. Maar wanneer ze het middel uitproberen op hun
droomvrouwen, ontdekken ze dat ware liefde zich niet laat manipuleren…

"The Formula" is the story of Quinn (Baker) and Graham
(played by Iowa Native Mike Schminke), two engineering students who
discover a mathematical formula to pick up women with ease. Quinn is a
hopeless romantic who falls head over heels for a young student teacher.
Graham is a chauvinistic womanizer who thinks the key to finding the
woman of his dreams is by wooing as many as possible. As "The Formula"
follows Quinn and Graham from one date to the next, they discover that
there is no shortcut to finding true love.
