The Fratellis are an award-winning alternative rock indie band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jon Fratelli, bass guitarist Barry Fratelli, and drummer, backing vocalist, occasional guitarist and banjo player Mince Fratelli. Costello Music was the The Fratellis debut album and was released September 11th 2006. It charted at No.2 in the UK album charts for three weeks.The success of the album led to The Fratellis winning the BRIT award for Best British Breakthrough Act in 2007, an award that was voted for by BBC Radio One listeners.



Here We Stand is the second studio album by Scottish rock band The Fratellis, following their successful debut Costello Music from 2006. The album was released on June 9th 2008 in the UK and June 10th 2008 in the U.S., and was their first release on Island Records. The first single from Here We Stand was Mistress Mabel [released May 26th 2008].
