The Honeymooners (1951-1957) Classic, Lost Episodes, Specials, Extras (Size: 25.15 GB)
Description
This is an updated version 2014-08-08 of my collection of 127 of the Honeymooners episodes, compilations and extras. I believe that there were 169 episodes of the Honeymooners broadcast from 1951 to 1957 and 64 episodes broadcast from 1962 to 1985 in specials and as parts of other shows. Most of the 1960's broadcasts (and some earlier episodes) were reworkings of earlier sketches. Many of the earliest episodes, from the 1951/1952 DuMont Cavalcade of Stars program are lost.
I believe this is the most complete collection available online. Maybe I can describe this collection with numbers: Grand Total of this collection Includes 127 of 242 (Missing 90 and 25 are lost) 1950's Broadcast Episodes Includes 116 of 169 (Missing 32 and 21 are lost) 1960's Broadcast Episodes and Specials Includes 2 of 64 (Missing 58 and 4 are lost) "Lost Episodes" Includes 76 of 104 (Missing 22 and 6 are lost) 01 Cavalcade of Stars 1951-52 Includes 1 of 26 (Missing 10 and 15 are lost) 02 The Jackie Gleason Show 1952-53 Includes 21 of 32 (Missing 7 and 4 are lost) 03 The Jackie Gleason Show 1953-54 Includes 22 of 25 (Missing 3) 04 The Jackie Gleason Show 1954-55 Includes 23 of 27 (Missing 3 and 1 is lost) 05 The Classic 39 1955-56 Includes 39 of 39 (COMPLETE) 06 The Jackie Gleason Show 1956-57 Includes 10 of 20 (Missing 9 and 1 is lost) 07 The American Scene Magazine 1962-1966 Includes 0 of 3 (Missing 2 and 1 is lost) 08 The Jackie Gleason Show 1966-1967 Includes 0 of 19 (Missing 19) 09 The Jackie Gleason Show 1967-68 Includes 0 of 9 (Missing 9) 10 The Jackie Gleason Show 1968-69 Includes 0 of 9 (Missing 9) 11 The Jackie Gleason Show 1969–70 Includes 0 of 13 (Missing 13) PC The Jackie Gleason Specials 1960, 1970-1985 Includes 2 of 11 (Missing 6 and 3 are lost) VC Compilation for Video Release Includes 9 of 9 (COMPLETE) This torrent includes all episodes (that I could get my hands on) of The Honeymooners, both as a sketch and as the television series. What most people know as "The Honeymooners" aired as a half-hour series for the 1955/56 season, where there were 39 episodes, often referred to as the "Classic 39". They are all available on DVD, and are all included here. 26 sketches were known to have aired in the 1951/52 season on DuMont's Cavalcade of Stars, and two on The Ed Sullivan Show. The 9 surviving episodes from Cavalcade have been released on DVD as of 2011, but I only have 1. The two from the Sullivan show remain unreleased. 104 sketches were known to have aired between 1952-57 on CBS' The Jackie Gleason Show. Known as the "Lost Episodes", most of them have been released on DVD as of 2011, but I only have 76 and am still missing 22 and 6 are lost. The remainder have not been released for various reasons, including: 1) Some are still lost or only in the hands of private collectors; 2) Some are incomplete or are in poor condition. I've also included a Jack Benny episode from 1958 where he does a honeymooners homage with Audrey Meadows and him impersonating Jackie. There also exist 10 specials that were filmed from 1970 to 1990, unfortunately, I only have the 1973 Special and the 35th anniversary special from 1990. It is inconceivable to me that 2 of the specials broadcast in the 1970's are considered "lost": welcome to the wonderful world of the entertainment industry! I've also included the compilations that were put together for the DVD releases. Some of the non-lost episodes, I just don't have, so if you have an episode that I don't, PLEASE CONTACT ME. If you have an episode that is "known to be lost", do you think I'd like to talk with you? I've named the episodes according the way they are listed on the Wikipedia page, and I've included the original broadcast date, a standard SxxEyy (Season-Episode) and an over-all episode sequential number in the title. I'm looking forward to the new Blu-Ray releases where they've re-mastered them and cleaned them up - the samples I've seen look amazing. Anyway, enjoy... Sharing Widget |
