Mr. p169 no Black Bars guy here..
always Dolby Digital 5.1, and always a Full encode never stretched..

playing with my new encoding software that hits High at Level 5.1
allows me to play a bit more..

so here is my 4th encode.. The Last Witch Hunter 2015 808p169 DD5.mkv
yes that's right 808p.. High@Level 5.1 encode at slow 2-pass

Big thanks goes out to RARBG passing on the 25.55gig version with enough bitrate for me to do this p169 stuff i do in the 1080p area..

and for those wondering what I'm doing..
remember everyone who does this 16:9 stuff
Never stretch to 16:9 (pixelated blocky nasty washout stuff)..
always a full encode below the Vertical, Never above..
with the cut and encode, video aspect is untouched (round objects are round)

eg.. 1920x800 movie is actually 1422x800 for 16:9
so a Cut Left and Right of 249 gives you the 16:9 box,
so during the cut i encode Below the vertical of 800 to 720p
1280x720 end result gives Full 16:9 without distorting image aspect ratio

Fully encoded 16:9's
and i never encode audio at the same time..
