Onderwijzeres Samantha Caine (Geena Davis) lijdt aan geheugenverlies en wordt gekweld door een mysterieus verleden.Met hulp van privédetective Mitch Henessey (Samuel L. Jackson) ontdekt ze haar ware identiteit,die van geheim agente Charly Baltimore. Het tweetal ontdekt een samenzwering tussen de geheime dienst en Baltimore's aartsvijand, wapenhandelaar Timothy. Mistress Samantha Caine (Geena Davis) suffers from amnesia and is tormented by a mysterious verleden.Met help of private investigator Mitch Henessey (Samuel L. Jackson) discovers her true identity, that of secret agent Charly Baltimore. The pair discovers a conspiracy between the Secret Service and Baltimore's arch enemy, Timothy dealer. Caine can stop him only as deadly instincts she knows from her memory to free. Until then, it seems powerless and must watch Timothy kidnaps her daughter on Christmas day and a completely innocent city threatens to destroy.
