Torrent notes
This torrent contains all of Season 5 episodes. I ‘discovered’ Doug Stanhope and decided to check out The Man Show content, which I had never watched before 2015. It had been deemed (to paraphrase) as a sort of ‘pathetic man-as-child drivel’ by WBAI radio host Armand DiMele ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armand_DiMele ) but it is quite funny enough to watch as electronic files, especially given the brief ~22 minute show length and the ability to evade the formulaic intro and outro if desired. 1] Seasons 5 and 6 - This torrent contains all the episodes for Seasons 5, since Seasons 5 and 6 are not available on DVD at all, and not compiled anywhere I could find. Even the sources that have the episodes available to watch or for sale do not have them filtered or listed correctly (duplication with different naming, descriptions and ordering but the same episode content, and the also the converse… where the same episode naming is represented by different show content) 2] All episodes are in the 200mb range +/- 20mb, and are either mp4 or avi 3] Seasons 5 and 6 - For what these shows cost one would think someone could have gotten the metadata correct (names of shows, the show number, the description), but this is not the case and I could find no source that was more than somewhat accurate. (I suppose this is where TV is like the overall rap music, here today gone today, and rightfully so in the case of most TV, perhaps even The Man Show). The titles, the order, the descriptions were all messed up on any source I checked (iTunes, Hulu, IMDB… though they are still happy to charge you) so for these seasons I gave them titles from the relevant skits. The show title you might find assigned was usually one of the skits, but again if you use an existing source then you might find either the title or the content but not usually both. I assigned them a show order using my best judgment based on inter-show references and available sources. The Man Show http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0202741/ This half-hour comedy show focuses on things men enjoy -- beer, women and humor and beauty. The show featured dancing women in thematic semi-revealing outfits or costumes, and each episode ends with footage of women jumping on trampolines. First episode date: June 15, 1999 Final episode date: June 19, 2004 Network: Comedy Central The Man Show was an American comedy television show on Comedy Central that aired from 1999 to 2004. It was created in 1999 by its two original co-hosts, Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla, and their executive producer Daniel Kellison. The Man Show simultaneously celebrated and lampooned the stereotypical loutish male perspective in a sexually charged, humorous light. The show consisted of a variety of pre-recorded comedy sketches and live in-studio events, usually requiring audience participation. In 2003 after Season 4, Kimmel and Carolla left The Man Show, with the hosting job passed down to comedians Joe Rogan and Doug Stanhope. Together, they hosted the show when it ran for two more seasons (Season 5 and Season 6 aired between August 2003 July 2004) at which time the show completed its run. Joe Rogan continued to host Fear Factor for three more years after The Man Show was cancelled and eventually became color commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which he has been associated with since its early days. Doug Stanhope has released 7 comedy shows (albums and/or video performances) since the demise of The Man Show, and continues to perform standup comedy. He has released 13 comedy shows total. The Man Show is known for its female model eye-candy, known as the Juggy Dance Squad, composed of individual Juggy Girls who would dance in themed, revealing costumes at the opening of every show, and in the aisles of the audience just before The Man Show went to commercial break, and they also appeared at the end the shows with the "Girls on Trampolines" segment.
