Description

Trouble Will Find Me is the sixth album by Brooklyn-based indie rock band The National, to
be released on May 20, 2013 in Europe and May 21 in North America via 4AD.[1] The album was
self produced with mixing by Peter Katis, who worked on their previous albums High Violet,
Alligator, and Boxer at Clubhouse studio in Rhinebeck, NY. The album will be released
digitally, on CD, 180gm vinyl, and in a limited edition deluxe boxed vinyl set.
The following guests will appear on the album: St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Doveman,
Sufjan Stevens, Nona Marie Invie (of Dark Dark Dark) and Richard Reed Parry (of Arcade
Fire).

Release

On December 8, 2011 the band performed on Q (the CBC radio show) in front of a live audience.
Two new songs were performed for the first time: "Rylan" and "I Need My Girl." "I Need
My Girl" will be featured on the new album.[3] The band will embark on a tour with the
Dirty Projectors to support the album.[4] When asked about the album, Aaron Dessner, the
guitarist, said "our ideas would immediately click with each other. It's free-wheeling
again. The songs on one level are our most complex, and on another they're our most simple
and human. It just feels like we've embraced the chemistry we have."[1]
The first single, "Demons," was released on April 8, 2013. The second single, "Don't Swallow
the Cap," was released on April 11, 2013. On April 25, 2013 the band performed a previously
unheard track, "Sea of Love", on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.[5] "Sea of Love" was also the
first video released from the album on May 8, 2013. [6]. The video references a Russian punk
rock band Zvuki Mu in the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfKqjHLdetM) of the song
