The Phantom Sunday Series (Falk) (Size: 3.22 GB)
Description
The Phantom is an American adventure comic strip created by Lee Falk. The Phantom is one of the first masked comic heroes. He operates in a never-never land that is vaguely Asiatic, but where the natives all seem to be African. The Phantom position has been handed down from father to son for over 400 years, and many natives and superstitious sailors believe that it is the same man, thus leading to the Phantom's nickname, "The Ghost Who Walks".
Lee Falk wrote both daily and Sunday Phantom strips for newspapers (with separate stories) for over 60 years. A number of different artists drew and inked the strip during this time frame. This is a repackaging of a torrent containing The Phantom Sunday strips from 1939 through most of 1999 which is no longer being seeded. These are all of the Sunday stories that Lee Falk had a personal hand in. Most are in B&W; a few are in color, and there are some colorized duplicates or scans of the original Sunday strips. I added a color version of S003 (nice, since hair color is an important plot element), and added S107, which is incomplete. The missing parts are at the beginning, so at least there is a resolution to the story. The files are packaged as .cbz or .cbr files. These are simply a folder of (usually) jpeg files that have been packaged as a single file by running them through zip or rar and renamed. You can access the files by expanding them and using your favorite graphics application, or by using a dedicated application which reads .cbz ad .cbr files. See http://www.serjtech.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=4&nav=0 for more information about accessing these file types. Related Torrents
