Bruce Pritchard, a 24-year-old boy, who comes from the working class, can not imagine myself without football and goes through life impulsively, as befits a young man full of forces. Everything changes when suddenly discovered an incurable disease attracts him to a wheelchair. Not wanting to see his family in this, Bruce goes into voluntary exile in a charity shelter for people with disabilities. The bitterness of his fate, as well as a reluctance to accept the rules that now has to live, make the young man all the more withdrawn and angry.
