The Screamers - Various Live and Demo Recordings (Los Angeles synth punk)

Consisting of Tomata du Plenty on vocals, Tommy Gear and David brown on synth, and K.K. Barrett on Drums, the Screamers were one of the original Los Angeles punk bands of the Masque era (c. 1977-78). They differed from most other contemporary punk and new wave acts in that they opted for double keyboards over the usual bass and guitar duo. Playing infrequently and failing to release any commercial recordings, the Screamers' bootleg and demo catalogue is the sole remaining record of this incredible band.
