When I went to the cinema to watch The Seasoning House, I didn't know what to expect. It was a British movie, the director's name was unfamiliar to me, the poster didn't gave me much clues except the critics seemed to like it, so basically I had no idea what I was in for. Boy was I surprised, 90 minutes well spent! The story is intriguing, based on real events that used to happen not so long ago somewhere in the Balkans, the acting is impeccable, and the cinematography is gold. This movie holds you firm in your seat as it changes gears several times throughout the story. I think it is going to be one of those movies where you either love it or hate it. Even though I am not really a horror fan, I found this movie very entertaining and would strongly recommend watching it. The horror critics seem to agree.
