This band reaches its diverse audience through positive messages that battle the inner and outer conflicts we experience throughout our lives. The Senticsphere has evolved as an artist and developed a loyal following in their hometown of Vancouver, B.C. and abroad. The band recently completed their new full-length record 'Day One' at Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver, BC with JMP (Juice Mix Productions). Produced and engineered by Jay 'Juice' Evjen (The Age of Electric, Wide Mouth Mason, Hot Hot Heat), the album street release date was May 23rd 2009. Their first smash single off the new record 'On the Edge' garnered them Vancouver's Fox Seeds Top 10 and they are currently making their way through the competition with much success to date. In 2006, their EP release 'Waking the Sun', produced by Jason Mauza (Everclear, Foo Fighters, Kd Lang) was reviewed online through garageband.com to much appraise. It won online awards such as 'Best Male Vocals in Hard Rock', 'Best Programming in Hard Rock' and 'Track of the Week' twice over. The single 'More' made it's way across oceans to be on the 2008 Australian motorsport DVD 'Gazza Nationals' soundtrack, now available throughout Australia and New Zealand. Being a big year for the band, they were selected to play the 2008 NEW MUSIC WEST festival showcasing the Vancouver music scene. They also played in Montreal for the Emergenza festival competing on an international level. After 5 months and over 200 bands, The Senticsphere went on to represent Vancouver and Western Canada, and was awarded 2nd place as 'Best Unsigned Talent' in the nation. The Senticsphere is a high-energy rock act that delivers memorable songs with big moments and stands to be recognized as a highly talented emerging act. Dedicated to playing live and building the brand, they continue to play numerous shows at premier venues in British Columbia, creating a better live show experience with each performance. The band is currently planning a series of concerts throughout Canada and hopes to soon be able to come to your hometown "rockin' along, singing along beside YOU"!
