The Settlers 2 Gold Edition + Return to the Roots + S2 RTTR Editor + Over 500 maps

No need to install, just unzip.
No Dosbox needed for Return to the Roots, this just works under Windows.

This is a complete version of The Settlers 2, with Return to the Roots, the RTTR S2 Map Editor and over 500 playable maps.

To start the game, double click:
s25client.exe (or Start-Playing RTTR.bat)

To start the editor, go to the map "Map Editor" and click:
s25edit.exe

Useful tips regarding the editor:
- Save file as "filename.swd" (don't forget the *.swd extension
- The file will be saved in the "worlds" map
- If you want to use your creation move the file to
RTTRMAPSNEW OTHER or SEA (depending on what kind of map you create).
- If you want to make a harbor, hold the "H" key and place it on any castle location at the coast.
- If you want to remove the harbor, hold the "B" key.
- If you want to remove any player, hold the LEFT SHIFT + Left mouse button.
