The Smurfs and the Magic Flute - U.S. Yohan TV edition

As a kid, my parents taped this movie off of the TV. Recently my brother went looking for a copy, and discovered to his horror that all DVD and download releases out there were a very different version of this movie from the one we watched growing up.

All dvd and official download releases of this movie include a British dubbing of this movie that is very different from the U.S. dubbing.

I then found out when buying a vintage US VHS release of this movie, it was different from the US version that we taped off of tv. They renamed Yohan to Jon and redubbed any lines mentioning his name, and redubbed papa smurfs lines with someone else.

I also found that on the TV airing, they edited and moved the smurfs party scene to take place earlier in the movie before Yohan and Pee Wee meet the smurfs. The TV edition was also edited to be a bit shorter to run in the allotted time.

So, with my 3 sources, British DVD, US VHS, TV taped VHS, I was able to take the video from the DVD, sync it to the audio from the US VHS, and restore Jon back to Yohan and Papa Smurf's original lines from the TV taped VHS, to put together this version, which is true to the TV airing with the party kept in the earlier part of the movie, but with the scenes that were edited short for timing kept intact.
