The Soldier's Load and Mobility of a Nation by S.L.A. Marshall [epub]

Everyone's been telling me this is something to read. Can't say that I agree with Marshall's logic but his conclusion that the soldier is overloaded is very true. And it is all the fault of the chain of command. New technology that lighten's the soldier's load? Just an opportunity to require him to carry more other junk. "Good training!" they'll say.

There's a crappy copy on scribd with missing text, incorrect punctuation that changes the meaning of the writing, no illustrations, etc. This is much better.

Please help seed.
