DescriptionMP3@320kbps Please Seed as long as possible After Downloading - The Stray Roots - - Voodoo & Magic (2012) - The cheekily named “Stray Roots” is the brainchild of two very different characters, Andrew Ford and Troy Dwyer who met at the first “Sydney Blues Festival“, and hatched a plan to create a band with a difference, The Stray Roots have since laid claim to being the Hawkesbury’s finest rhythm and blues outfit. Boasting several decades of live experience their repertoire consists of a mixture of dirty blues ridden swampy classics and provocative originals inspiring swea-filled nights of unbridled shimmying. Influences range from the earthy British sounds of Dr Feelgood to the traditional Chicago and Delta style of Howling Wolf and his contemporaries. Troy Dwyer: Lead vocals and soaring harp. Troy has over 30 years experience fronting bands throughout Australia and New Zealand. Flying under the radar, he is a passionate man and has always brought something to his performance on stage. He steers the ship for all the crew, as best he can! Andrew Ford : Bass guitar and lurid comment. Andy has been plucking the bass for over 20 years in various original outfits. He has a passion for beer and blues and has been known to show amazing agility in threading through crowded venues in search of the bar. While Troy and Andrew are the hub of the band, the other players are very flexible, due to their busy work schedules - this way we get to keep the band playing and everyone feels part of it.
