Actor Mike Daisey, author Marjorie Heins, and emailer Phillip Harter on this edition of The Todd Mundt Show. Daisey took a position at Amazon.com, left the company after two years of long hours and low pay, and has since created a one-man show about his job there. He talks about working in customer service, and his behind-the-scenes perspective at Amazon. His future book is called 21 Dog Years. Art, literature, and Internet sites have been censored from children to protect them from indecent sexual material. But what is considered indecent, and how could the censored material harm kids? Heins talks about the history of indecency laws, and how past beliefs have led to today's definition of indecent. She explains the historic ideals that form the foundation for the laws, and why they need to be changed. Her book is Not in Front of the Children. And, about four years ago, an email message bearing Harter's name circled the globe. The message described what life would be like if the world's resources and wealth were distributed among only 100 people. Harter received the message and sent it to others, but his name remained on the message. He talks about the unexpected attention he's received from people who think he's the author.
