The Trails of Genghis Khan

Adventurer Tim Cope embarks on a challenging three-and-a-half year, 10,000 km journey on horseback to retrace the steps of history's first nomadic horsemen, including those of the legendary Genghis Khan. His journey takes him from the former Mongolian Empire capital, Karakorum, to the Danube River of Hungary. Tim's journey is a dangerous one and takes in wolf-infested plateaux, glacial Altai mountains, freezing temperatures, scorching heat, violent clashes between sedentary and nomadic societies, and the treacherous peaks of the Carpathians.
