The Two Ronnies was a 1971-1987 television sketch series featuring comedians Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett.



The Two Ronnies had many memorable skits, but two of their most popular recurring characters were the two country singers "Big Jim Jehosophat" (Corbett) and "Fatbelly Jones" (Barker). Almost all of the songs from those sketches are here in new stereo studio recordings, alongside new songs, and comic dialogue between the two characters. The script it pure Barker, and the performances are wonderful.



This has been transferred from a Stereo (Philips) recording.



The original sleeve art is also included in a reshaped form to better suit CD packaging. This recording was released only once commercially, and has, to the best of my knowledge, been discontinued since 1973.
