---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated with UNRELEASED content. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update #1 The Ultimate Guide Fake ID Guide tells how to make barcodes, but here is some more info on the variables that change to make different amounts of rows. The only things that really ever changes to make barcodes the right amount of rows is Error Correction - The lesser amount of rows = the lower the error correction number should be for it to work. If 7 doesn't work try 6, if that doesn't work try 5 etc. Data Columns and Rows - The lower the numbers = less rows. The higher the numbers = more rows You just have to mess with the Data Columns and Rows and Error Correction to find the right combination. Then resize the barcode so the dimensions stay the same, if you need to make the barcode a little more higher or wider it will still work without messing up it's ability to scan. Those 3 things will perfect your barcodes to match the states barcodes that you're working on. Update #2 This is how to get your $180 mag encoder to work with The Jerm program. These msrw magstripe encoders are discussed in the Ultimate Guide. They cost $180 and are sold on ebay as MSRW-509-3HL (but just search msrw and you will find them). The msrw uses a serial port to connect to the computer, but the ebay seller is nice enough to include a free serial to usb converter. You need the appropriate drivers for this to work though. I run windows vista 64 bit and found the "PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v130.zip" drivers from prolific.com.tw/eng/downloads.asp?id=31 to work. After that specific driver was downloaded the Jerm worked and I have been reading and writing all three tracks ever since. This is very exciting because The Jerm is awesome, and increases efficiency. And $180 is cheap for a working reader/writer. I hope other people find this useful. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Related Torrents
