The Unearthed
SUPERNATURAL SUSPENSE WITH A SIDE OF SIBLING RIVALRY--
If it’s the characters that make you love a book, Tim and Eddie McCloskey are as memorable a pair of ghostbusters—excuse us! “Paranormal Investigators”-- as you’ll ever find. Tim’s serious, scientific, solid, and out of shape, but has a cute girl friend, Eddie’s handsome but can't get a girl friend. He's also personable, good with kids, relaxed, yet thoroughly irresponsible. (At least irresponsible according to Tim.) Watching these guys interact is half the fun.
But thrills and chills also abound, along with a clever paranormal mystery, as a ghost named Billy haunts a boy named Billy in a house where a mom, dad, and another boy named Billy were murdered in a melee that gives new meaning to the term “dysfunctional family.” What's up with all the Williams? Can't help wondering, can you? It’s one of the cleverest and most intriguing aspects of the mystery.
And make no mistake, mystery it is (as well as a scary ghost story). Tim and Eddie, along with their ghost-hunting helpers, Moira and Stan, function as a finely tuned team of private investigators, with Moira doing the research, Stan on IT, Tim running the show, and Eddie…well, Eddie’s the people person. Everyone loves him, especially kids. You will too.

The Lost
CAN A WHOLE TOWN BE HAUNTED? HELP! COULD BE…
Eddie McCloskey, the novice ghost hunter of THE UNEARTHED, the powerful first entry in this chilling supernatural thriller series, now finds himself, not in a haunted house—that’s familiar territory--but seemingly in an entire haunted town!
Well, just terrific for a guy who’s lost everything that’s important to him, including his freedom! The perpetually unfocused younger brother of a tragic family, he’s been so careless as to get busted for pot and packed off to the Big House.
Trying to restart, he’s only found himself once again in the supernatural soup. Or so say the locals. The story goes like this: A dead girl slipped on the ice a few years ago, no one could save her, and her ghost won’t rest. Oh, sure, thinks Eddie. Yet, ever soft-hearted, he gets drawn back into another ghost-hunt by the dead girl’s sister.
But hold it here—could this thing be a hoax? Maybe not-- in an Eddie McCloskey occult mystery, there’s going to be paranormal activity, and lots of it—terrifying noises, spooky moaning and wailing, scary footprints where there shouldn’t be any, freaky dropping temperatures—all the chilling horror tale touches that make up a spine-tingling ghost story.
But if it’s a hoax, then why? What's the point of such an elaborate fake haunting? In this one, Eddie functions as private investigator as much as ace paranormal expert. Half the fun’s trying to figure out if the supernatural shenanigans are real or phony.

The Accused and the Damned
When the police arrest Anson Ketcher and charge him with murdering his wife, he keeps saying: "The ghost killed her."
Nobody believes him. And nobody should, given Anson's violent past and rocky relationship with his dead wife. Everyone wants to see Anson convicted.
Except Eddie McCloskey, mixed up part-time ghost hunter now turned paranormal investigator for real—and by the by, also turned expert witness. Once Eddie’s hired, the prosecution doubles-down and brings in Gracie, a heavy-hitter who specializes in exposing frauds, quacks, and charlatans, and who has her own daytime syndicated TV show. She’s a shark in a suit, determined to refute anything Eddie tries to say.
So what's a paranormal investigator to do? Investigate the paranormal, of course. But he has a bad moment when the ghost itself writes him a note—claiming its innocence! Well, ghosts have been known to lie, but this sure doesn’t help Eddie’s cause.
He sets out to prove that a ghost could have killed the woman, and during his testimony he gets what looks like a break but...not so fast there!

The Hysteria
THINK INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS MEETS THE X-FILES..AND PREPARE TO SHAKE IN YOUR SHOES!
Random, increasing violence plagues the town. People have gone missing. Bodies are piling up. Paranormal investigator Eddie McCloskey can’t trust anyone.
Something inexplicable is happening in this edge-of-your–seat supernatural thriller, which starts with suspense, sneaks in a few chills, moves on to thrills, and ends in a melee of outright screaming horror. A few highlights:
The man's daughter isn't possessed. But Eddie can't tell him that.
The people aren't actually missing. They're hiding. But Eddie can't tell the cops that.
And Eddie’s got a personal issue: He’s forced to work with someone from his past--an extremely dangerous psychic he never wants to see again.
He's in way over his head. But he sure, can't tell that to the deep-cover team of federal agents that pepper the landscape.

The Traveler
WHEN THE TRAVELER'S AROUND, EVERY HOUSE IS HAUNTED!
Traveler: an incredibly rare type of ghost that is linked to a living person and thus is able to move from one location to another...
How spooky is that? Can a ghost literally scare someone to death? Paranormal investigator Eddie McCloskey’s never encountered either phenomenon, but there’s always a first time…
Detective Sumiko Christie has her work cut out for her. Before the two victims died, they both reported seeing a ghost. And it gets stranger.
Both victims died from fear.
Christie is no expert in the paranormal. And after the last one, Eddie isn’t ready for a case this dangerous. After that shootout at the Supernatural Corral, who needs a ghost serial killer?
But they have no choice but to work together. And there’s something else: Sumiko’s the first woman to capture Eddie’s interest since that first, terrifying occult adventure that changed his life forever.

The Dream Machine
They’re watching her dreams…and seeing the future

At a remote federal facility, researchers are watching—literally watching—test subjects’ dreams on computer screens. Alison, a teenage patient, is of particular interest because her dreams seemingly come true.

Eddie McCloskey, paranormal expert, versed in the occult and in debunking bad science, doesn’t put much stock in dreams. He’s studied the paranormal literature as much as anybody, and he’s convinced there’s a perfectly good explanation for all dreams.

But when Alison dreams about a catastrophic accident and a terrible crime, the shadowy federal agents Eddie worked with in Oregon come calling again. Eddie and the feds are racing against the clock. Are the dreams predictions, or merely intimations of what might happen? Can the future be altered?

This is no ghost hunt, but they need Eddie McCloskey’s lateral thinking if they’re going to get the job done here. Because they’ll soon discover there’s something else, something even more sinister, about Alison’s dreams…
