Update #1:
Is there a reason you mentioned BS Player?\n
It seems we have something of a language barrier here, so be patient and I'll try to understand and help.\n
First, you say "legends", but I think you mean "subtitles" and you are trying to use "AVI Recomp" to hard code subtitles onto the video.\n
Am I correct so far?\n
Here's the information I need:\n
1) When playing this file on your TV, what do you use? Another device or your computer?\n
If you create a custom DVD to play in a DVD player, I'm afraid this is beyond the scope of my knowledge.\n
2) How does it output to your TV? via 15 pin VGA 0r line in or does it go in the tuner like old VCRs do?\n
==> if you use your computer, then subtitles don't need to be hardcoded and you don't need to recompress. Many players will handle AVI subtitles just fine.\n
Anyway, give me as much info as you can and I'll see if we can figure this out.\n

It works when VLC or XBMC don't (long story)\n
Also (and this is my favorite) you can frame backwards from "pause". Ever try to pause at a certain scene and "just missed it" over and over again? Now you can back up easily.\n
