Since her 1980 Carnegie Hall debut, soprano and medieval harpist Therese Schroeder-Sheker has mounted quite a distinguished career. Her breakout 1987 Windham Hill Records album The Queen's Minstrel is still a fan favorite and has been long out of print – making new copies nearly impossible to find. One reviewer described the album as 'delicate and incandescent', praising her singing as a 'silvery thread, supported by her liquid harping.'
